■ 要旨
Cancer diagnosis imposes a significant psychological burden. In this study, we evaluated changes in the prevalence of mental disorders before and after cancer diagnosis among approximately 220,000 patients diagnosed with cancer. Our findings revealed that the prevalence of mental disorders rises sharply immediately after the diagnosis and then gradually declines over the following several years.
